The Museum is open every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, 2.30pm-4.30pm until the end of October. Re-opens Spring 2027 (date TBC)
Our exhibition on East Hendred, the Second World War and the Harwell site will continue for a second year - many say it is our best yet - there is a lot to see and read.
School groups welcome by arrangement. Our WW2 exhibition works great for the Year 6 curriculum. Please get in touch via our contact page.
Special events taking place:
Remembrance Sunday 8th November. Please join us after the Remembrance Service on Sunday, 8th November, to see the exhibition and enjoy a glass of sherry or soft drink.
Christmas tree lighting and carols - the tree lights will be turned on with carol singing and festive refreshments on Sunday 6th December at 5pm
Open for 2026 from 5th April
The museum will be open for the 2026 season from Sunday 5th April, from 2.30pm - 4.30pm every Saturday and Sunday afternoon until the end of October. Volunteers will be on hand to talk you through the exhibits and answer any questions.
